Welcome to Season Two! A whole new season of characters, costumes and Phrack to obsess over. And to start things off with a bang, we invited the delightful JoJo Stiletto to join us on the show. JoJo is a burlesque performer and producer, and her specialty is creating burlesque shows that blend feminism and pop culture, such as the Burl-X-Files, a show she produced in 2013. She reveals the exciting project she’s currently producing—one that we know you will ALL be interested in!
Please note: We recorded this episode earlier in the fall, so some of this news will be a little out of date. Specifically, Chandler’s Dead Feminists book launch has already taken place, tickets for JoJo’s Miss Fishnet’s Murder Mysteries burlesque show in January sold out immediately (but dates may be extended so still check it out), and Mary’s prayer to the Universe for there to be a Miss Fisher Con was heard! IT’S HAPPENING!!!
